Georgiana Birjovanu is MEng in Computer Science student at University College London. During her undergraduate studies at UCL, Georgiana has been focusing on software development, contributing to various projects in the health, energy or banking domain.
Before joining the IRDR team in July 2018, Georgiana interned as a Software Developer at Credit Suisse and Avanade, a Microsoft and Accenture tech consultancy company. During her time at UCL, she was awarded the UCL Computer Science Award for Best C++ Project and various other scholarships for STEM Students. Georgiana spent her third year of undergraduate studies at ETH Zürich, taking security and computation classes and writing her Bachelor thesis on privacy methods applied in peer-to-peer energy markets.
