Michele Tizzoni is post-doctoral research fellow at the ISI foudation. He completed his Masters’ Degree in theoretical physics at the University of Torino in 2007. The following year he entered the Ph.D. program in Physics of the Politecnico of Torino and in 2009 he joined the Computational Epidemiology Laboratory at the ISI foundation, where he completed his graduate studies under the supervision of Dr. Vittoria Colizza. In 2012, he was post-doctoral fellow at the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control, in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Dr Tizzoni’s research interests revolve around the field of infectious disease epidemiology with a special focus on mathematical modeling and the use of interdisciplinary methods, such as network theory and computational data- driven models.
