Amrish Baidjoe is a field-epidemiologist/microbiologist has close to a decade of experience in operational research and response in low-middle income countries and humanitarian health emergencies. At current he is the president of the EPIET Alumni Network (EAN) and the vice-president of the R-epidemics consortium (RECON), where he focuses on advancing analytical tools and training for data analytics in humanitarian health emergencies using the open-source R software. Until October, he was the lead of operational research in Cox’s Bazar for the health sector in Bangladesh.
