Dan is a first year PhD student in Digital Anthropology at University College London studying HPV vaccination in the Republic of Ireland. His research focuses on shifting information practises in the digital age; the ways in which various publics relate to their institutions around vaccination. His wider research interests focus on shifting relationships between power, expertise and authority, in particular focusing on the anthropology of data and information.
