PhD Students Track Call for Papers

The 7th ACM Digital Health (DH) conference, taking place in London, UK on July 2-5, 2017, is a multidisciplinary event designed to foster research collaboration in this emerging area of research. DH is aiming to inspire early stage researchers developing a career in this field. The PhD Student Track is designed to provide high quality feedback to doctoral students by offering an opportunity for them to present their work to a group of mentors and peers. Students currently pursuing a PhD in a field related to digital health are invited to submit progress reports of up to 2 pages. They should clearly outline the project, its novelty and significance, and provide at least one result from ongoing work (that is, not just a project proposal).

PhD reports submitted by February 20 will be included in the proceedings, whereas those submitted later by April 27 will NOT be published in the proceedings but will be featured on the website and in the abstracts book distributed at the conference.

The deadlines:

    • Submission Deadline: Mon, February 13th, 2017
      EXTENDED! Thursday, April 27th, 2017
    • Notification of acceptance: Thursday May 4th, 2017

The submissions should indicate the stage of the PhD (e.g. early stage, preparation of viva/defense) and should follow general DH submission guidelines and ACM 2 column formatting. Contributions are sought regardless of the stage of the research project, from both information/technology and medical/health fields.

Students are also encouraged to submit full papers to the main track, if the project is advanced.

Submissions can be made here:https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dh2017
