Diana Trojaniello has a BEng degree (2009) and MSc (2011) cum laude in Biomedical Engineering from the University Federico II of Naples, in Italy. In 2015, she received her Ph.D in Bioengineering from Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. She practiced as a contract Professor at the University of Verona and University of Sassari in Biomedical image processing, MRI and CT techniques. During her Ph.D, she spent research periods abroad (EPFL, University of Virginia, University of Madrid, Oregon Health and Science University) as a visiting researcher. She has been and continues to be a speaker at numerous national and international conferences, including seminars and workshops, and a reviewer for various international scientific journals.
Dr. Trojaniello currently works as a research scientist at San Raffaele Hospital, in the eServices for Life and Health department. Her research interests include biomechanics, development and testing of new methodologies for human movement analysis based on wearable technologies, and of new ICT solutions for motor and cognitive assessment and rehabilitation. She was involved in EU projects as part of the EU FP7 Program of research, and is currently involved in some projects of the current H2020 Program.
