Biography:

After 13 years of industry experience building data driven applications, I joined Epiconcept for implementing finding practical applications of Big Data & AI applications on public health. Our vision is to combine data produced by studies or applications with social and public data to develop useful tools for public health institutions. We are currently developing & testing a series of prototypes based on Text analysis to help better people opinion on public social debate or particular studies.

Abstract:

Public health institutions are main actors on public debate and often as they are in the first line when it comes to face a sanitary risk, implement prevention programs or simply to inform people about their healthcare. In this talk we are going to show some text mining applications we are currently building to help better understand public opinion by analysing non-structured opinions on specific topics.
